The Fire Island Pines Property Owners' Association Political Action Committee hosts Congressman Tim Bishop at a the the bay front home of Allan Baum and Frank Liberto. Congressman Bishop won in 2010 by only a few hundred votes and only after a court ordered recount. Congressman Bishop is highly supportive of Pines issues and is always there for the community, especially on restoration of the beach. Congressman Bishop anticipates a difficult challenge in 2012. It is possible that Congress will consider a repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act. Congressman Bishop's vote for repeal could be critical. The FIPPOA PAC is doing everything it can to assure his re-election, and needs your support. Suggested contribution is $150. Co-sponsorship for the event are available from $500 and will be recognized at the event. Please make your check payable to "Tim Bishop for Congress" and return to: FIPPOA PAC, P.O.
