Report fires immediately!

Call 911 and give the address of the fire (lot number and walk) and the nearest intersecting walk. Explain clearly what is burning. Do not hang up until the information has been repeated back to you.

If no telephone is available, run to the Fire House (just west of the harbor, across from Widgeon Walk) and set off the alarm on the side of the building.

Please note that the siren at the Fire House sounds each day at noon, and that all fire sirens are tested each Wednesday at 12:05pm.

In the event of a fire, please be sure to stay off the walks and keep them clear for Fire Department crew and equipment.
