Animal Welfare
Pet health emergencies, call The Animal Clinic of Sayville at 563-1411. If anyone finds or should observe dogs, cats or other domestic animals on the loose, call 597-PAWS. Pines Animal Welfare Society is registering all pets. 597-PAWS If your pets go outside:
The incidence of deer, dog and cat injuries has increased, due to attacks by unleashed dogs. If anyone sees an unleashed dog, it should be reported to the Suffolk County Police. There are national, state and local laws to protect all animals in our community. Lyme disease is on the rise again this year, so please examine your pets for ticks regularly. Pet vaccinations should be up to date as well. Poison Alert If you wish to volunteer or have any questions, please call 597-PAWS. Please clean up after your pets!!! |
